The Diplomatic Reception Rooms
"Preserving Our Nation's History"
Every so often the Diplomatic Reception Rooms, a collection of 42 rooms within the U.S. Department of State, is visited by several teams of artisans who are charged with the upkeep of the many art pieces and objects that showcase American heritage and support diplomacy.

We were honored to capture this process over the course of two months and produce not only a short documentary to celebrate the reopening of the rooms, but also highlight the artisans and their work individually. We coupled beautiful, sweeping shots and intimate close-ups on objects with candid interviews of the artisans explaining the objects and art and their significance to America and it's diplomacy.
